Having channel surfed and found myself at Sky News to hear the shocking news that Heath Ledger had died, his vivid in my memory; as I sat there watching the coverage, changing the channels to see what coverage BBC News, CNN, Fox News was giving, and finally returning back to Sky the banner wrote TMZ.COM broke the story of Ledgers death. TMZ is a gossip website that shows celebrity at their worse, for them to break the story of Ledgers death to news station across the world, testifies to the changing of the guards. Time has changed when an infamous website can be quicker than a news channel in breaking a story, the fact that the need for speed comes with the over consumption of our society and the need for having everything now and at a mere click of a button.
